Do you have my regular email address? When you are in class you can ask me for it. My advice is simple, you should focus this year on passing fourth year. Do your assignments and exams and get finished with fourth year.

Then this summer, you should choose a thesis topic on a literature book or linguistics topic that is of interest to you. Then you can work on that throughout the summer and all of next year. If you pass your thesis, but fail the year, you will have to try to pass the year next year. I advise passing the year and working on the thesis next year.

It is impossible to write a good thesis in the time left if you have not already chosen a good topic. Of course, nothing is really impossible. Perhaps you can do it. But the time is limited.

There are many good books of literature at Oasis Books and at Global that you could choose for your thesis. That is the place to start. Also look at the thesis page on this website for information on getting started, and also for finding academic web sites.
